HELP!!!!! Brakes just wont work!!!!
I recently change the pads in my x-reg 156 1.8 during which one of the rear calipers passenger side had become seized and was not allowing to screw the piston back into its housing, had to disconnect the caliper and force it back in, after which the brakes just wouldn't bleed properly, I have tried the traditional method of pumping the pedal, and have used an easi-bleed kit none of which seems too work!
I have now changed the rear calipers for new ones and re-bled the system still not getting anywhere near enough braking.
I'm now at my wit's end! Nothing has changed on the car so cannot figure out what is causing my lack of brakes issue, has anyone got any ideas?
Is there something I should know about bleeding brakes on Alfa's?
Is there something I need to reset somewhere?
Could it be a servo issue? Possible fluid backing up through it?
Perhaps maybe a slave and master piston issue?
ANy ideas at all would be grateful
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I'M DESPERATE NOW!!!!
