Hmmm radio ariel

hello iv not long bought a 156 2.4 jtd and the muppet that owned it befor me replaced the stock radio but i cant find the cable that conects the ariel into the head unit so i need to run a new one but i dont know where the original ariel is on this car can anybody help plz

On the older ones, it's in the heated rear screen... Not sure if they gave up on this idea though (the reception is crap!)...

surely the (new) headunit had the aerial connected up?!

my GT plug is pictured here, but it will look the same in the 156:

this is an ISO style connection. depending upon the (new) headunit, it may utilise a DIN style connection, so the previous owner may have added an ISO-DIN adaptor plug:
