Well, this is a different thing.
We had a look at is this afternoon. I'm now more confused than ever.
If the car is in neutral and you shift to either 1st or Rev the engine dies. If you give it big revs and then shift, it pulls off and then you can stop again, engine idles fine. Shift back to neutral and try 1st again, it stalls.
Sele Oil is full up.
There does not seem to be any noticeable clutch drag.
The calibration either fails or won't start (Application error).
When the calibration runs I can hear the clutch moving, but when it comes to the actuator calibration nothing happens. The pump runs often but no actual movement from the actuator. It selects gears fine though.
Pump relay and connector are both now clean as a whistle. (Grease was not grease, and defiantly not "Black" grease from a CV.) I think there is a bit of an oil leak from the tappet cover cause it's normal engine oil. I got a finger full of clean oil off the bits there.
From what I can tell, the clutch pin is at 27.85mm which is a bit low, but can that be behind this lot?
I have my doubts about the battery though, it died while we were busy and we had to charge it several times.
The pump test was a failure too. I didn't think so this afternoon, but now I do. Alfadiag runs
the pump for 5 even 1 second beats. It never ran the full 5 beats. The most we got was 3. The relay is fine though, which to me points to battery again.
Maybe we should switch that Battery out with mine and try again?
