Ok so here goes...
I have an Alfa 147 T-SPARK 1.6 Lusso
Very happy Alfa owner, infact it's Alfa's all the way for me now i think folks!
My poor car is used and abused for work driven up and down the country almost everyday and despite a thirsty oil consumption which i believe is to be expected @ 1 litre per 1000 miles which is roughly correct, it has been trouble free.
Until last week, i started noticing that the car was not reaching its optimal 90 degrees quite as quick as usual, it would get there eventually but rarely stay there sometimes on motorways at speeds of 70+ (sssh)
the temp would drop not massively but noticeably.
I would like your opinions on what this could be, I was thinking perhaps i should replace the coolant ie flush and re-dilute + fill, but then I thought it could be the thermostat, yet the cars blowers blow Hot and Cold no problems? Or could it be the "Lambda" sensors I am purely speculating on what I have read from other forums so expert advice is definately needed.
Look forward to your reponses....
