156 V6 2.5 - no acceleration above 4000RPM after battery change
Today, I had to jumpstart my Alfa due to apparent battery failure. The battery is about 2 years old, which seems to be the average life in the desert.
When I drove the car to the service station, the car was fine (so I assume that jumpstarting did not damage anything). However, once the battery was exchanged (same battery, same brand), I noticed that the car wouldn't accelerate or would struggle above 4000 RPM...basically, it will not accelerate and it would even drop in power...
I would hope that it is nothing to serious, because the car has about 9 years and 147 000 kms. I have invested enough in repairs etc.
Any input welcome.
