I can get you a blank (uncut) red key with code2 immobiliser chip.
I can get you a new internal circuit board.
I know the key can be cut to suit and I know your car can be coded to accept the remote circuit board providing you have the code for your car (available from Alfa for about £15).
Your big problem will be the immobiliser chip. You will not get a clear answer from this forum if it is actually possible to get the car to accept the immobiliser chip. As CJO says, it is certain that you need someone with the Alfa Examiner package - this is usually main dealers but occasionally others have it (it is very expensive to buy). After that, some say you can, some say you can't, some say it is possible just difficult. All seem to get confused in their anecdotes between code 1 and code 2 keys.
Honestly, although it is painfully expensive, the best advice is to suck it up and buy a new one from the dealer. Some dealers on this forum will offer you a discount. Any other way is very risky and may end up costing you just as much in the long run.
Also, tell the seller of the car that if they ever find the other key, to let you know and you will buy it from them. People tend to remember that sort of thing when they find the key a few months later on.
