Weird uneven braking problem

Hey guys, I have a really weird braking issue.

I think its coming from the rear brakes! Basically when braking at reasonably slow speeds the car kinda jerks as if the brakes are griping then releasing then gripping then releasing until you come to a stop.

When i brake at high speeds it just shudders pretty badly.

Any ideas anyone?

Cheers, Jase

Maybe warped disk(s) or a worn ball joint/bush somewhere?

Yep, warped discs, but they are often not warped but have an uneven buildup of pad material ether from incorrect bedding-in or from sitting at the lights with your foot on the brake...

Ok thats good, discs was my obvious choice but being Alfa there could have been something unusual hehe!
