156 Rear Hub Bushes

Evening all.

I was advised some time ago that my 53 plate 156 JTS needed its rear hub bushes replacing. However, I've been really skint and so have left it a good few thousand miles.

MOT time beckons so 3 questions

1) could leaving it have done any damage to suspension components?
2) could it fail its MOT on these?
3) should I replace them with the aftermarket polyurethane harder ones?
