Well an eventful day!
\removed so far although not in order lol:
All usual gubbins stripped out to give space and access,
battery and tray, induction hoses, airbox, fan assembly.
Slave cylinder off, although discovered split seal and the bracket snapped. had to modify an allen key to get the middle bolt out.
Gear linkage off including heatshield and mount.
Wheels off, arch liner out.
Passenger driveshaft split.
Bottom ball joint split.
Rpm sensor and inspection plate off
earth cables off
engine breather pipes and pipes removed.
rear manifold off and heatshield.
front pipe off and lambda sensor unplugged from bulkhead to give movement to move out the way.
two lower starter bolts off.
power steering pipes unbolted from clamps.
might have forgotten a few bits
left to remove to start dropping the gearbox:
top starter bolt not playing ball even with custom made spanner.
drivers drive shaft.
Slave cylinder lever.
Could really do with some advice on removing the top starter bolt! I have tried to modify a 13mm spanner but cant get it to grip once applying pressure.
Also the slave cylinder level, does it knock off the spline easily enough?
Nothing is going as it should so far lol, a long day and back to it tomorrow.
