brakes. no pedal.


Recently put an engine in my 156 2.0ts 2001. All runs ok now.
Bled the clutch and brakes. Have a very good solid brake pedal when engine is switched off, but if you keep the pressure applied and start the engine the pedal goes to the floor switch off engine and pedal becomes solid again?
any ideas?

Sounds like a servo problem but what exactly escapes me at the moment.

Check your brake lines for leaks, especially over the top of the fuel tank.
