My car was sent away this morning, to the workshop, who fitted the gearbox and actuator.
The mechanic wasn't too eager to repair the actuator, and would rather change it to a brand new one.
At this point, i'm a little bit fed up, and have told him to do, what has to be done, to get the car running again, without any oilspill.
And the best part is, he told me, that he's soon leaving on vacation, so it will be at least 3 weeks before i'll get my car back:-(
If there was a "how to do it" on the selespeed makeover, then i would have sent it to my cousin, who has his own workshop, but he is afraid of the gearshift, because he hasn't the proper knowledge.
