Stupid question here, but does anyone know the diameter and length of the spring that goes underneath the gear knob on the shaft of the gear stick, and where you get could a suitable replacement? Mine escaped in a bid for freedom a while back when i was messing aorund and when I finally got into gear (boom-boom) to search for it, it was no-where to be seen. Now every time I'm pelting down the road I'm scared to change from 5th into 6th in case I accidentally jump over that little plastic guard thing at the bottom of the gear shaft and pop it into reverse at 70mph!
