156 engine light/alfadiag fault code
Hello,right now the engine light has come on my 156 for the 3rd time,only this time i have Alfadiag.The 1st time it came on my mate at a garage turned it off,the 2nd time it went off after about 150 miles,now it is on again,so i plugged laptop into it and this is the answer i got.
FAULT CODES: P1178 and P1177
FAILED COMPONANT CODE:Adaptation multiplacitive parameters low loads bank 2.
FAULT SYMPTOM:Above maximum limit.
WARNING LAMP STATUS:Warning lamp illuminated.
FAULT TEST STATE:Test not complete for this error.
FAULT CODE STORAGE STATE:Error present at time of request.
EVENT COUNT:40 count.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION ONE:Engine speed:3800 rpm.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION TWO:Relative load:36%.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION THREE:Engine coolant temp:71.25 C.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION FOUR:Air temp:29.25 C.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION FIVE:Throttle valve angle:0 d.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITION SIX:Battery voltage:14.03 volts.
So,did you get all that??? what does this mean? what part is broken? and why is test not complete for this error???? any help please chaps so i can get to the bottom of this,and maybe learn how to use Alfadiag!!!!!!!!
I think this might be triggered off after a certain amount of miles,but clearly it would take me doing more miles to confirm this.
