GT - fuel leak (?) just in front of driver's side rear wheel

Hi all

I have a potential problem with my (so far) trouble free GT. This week I had a couple of occasions when, on accelerating in third gear, I had a temporary drop in revs of maybe half a second. Certainly nothing too dramatic but not healthy either I would imagine.

Today I notice what looks like a small amount of fuel underneath the car just in front of the driver side rear wheel. I filled up to the brim a couple of days ago and having read a few threads today apparently I shouldn't be doing that.

I'm a long way from being an expert but does anybody think the temporary drop in revs and the fuel leak are symptoms of the same problem? Car is a JTDm on a 55 plate with ~35k miles on the clock and was last serviced 9 months ago.

Should I be looking at getting this into a garage sooner rather than later?

Thanks for any and all assistance
