thanks for the comments.
I wish I could take somebody else to have a look but at the moment I'm in a business trip in Brazil.
I have to say that I trust or trusted this mechanic, he has been doing work in my car for a couple of years but the only difference now is that I'm not present.
He is a good mechanic (fixing parts not just replacing them) but this time I have the feeling that he is trying to cheat me.
If I was there and had a look at the car I would know straight away if the damage is worth 1000 euro.
He said he is going to get every bodywork part required second hand so I guess no painting needs to be done.
So based on that my calculation is front bumper: 100, side panels: 80 each, repair on the oil heat exchanger or replacing with a used one: 100, some repair on the front part of the chassis: 150 and 200 euro labour which gives a total of 630 euro.
I can't think of anything else as he said that no mechanical damage other than the oil heat exchanger has been done to the car. How a bloody curb can cause such a damage? It wasn't a gallardo that hitted the curb!
I will try to ask a friend of mine to drive to the workshop and have a look.
As soon as I have more feedback I will share it with you.
