I tried to buy a new suspension bolt today, the one that holds the fork onto the shocker.
Mine will not come off and needs cutting, and replacing.
I was informed that they come in packs of 5, but each car only has 2(as far as I know).
Packs of 5 at £17 per pack. I wonder how much the nut and washer is?
Why the F*** do they do this?
I have seen this in the past with my fiat coupe, I needed some washers for the sump, it has about 20 approximately, but they came in bags of 60 at £32.
I don't mind paying a high price but get ripped off in this way is criminal.
Yes I know what everyone is saying now , go and buy one from a nut and bolt specialist.
Ok but I don't know the thread size or the tensile strength, or the shaft diameter.
Things like this really put me off fiat/alfa cars, do other normal manufacturer`s do this also?
the exact spec of that bolt would help, thanks
