Steering Knocking and Vibration
I've toiled the forums for a while looking for an answer to this, but just to see if I'm getting there I'll share this issue!
I've recently had 4 new alloys on my car, initially, I had vibrations coming from the steering wheel at around 50mph, I later found that the spigot rings were incorrect resulting in the vibrations. I had those replaced, and everything seemed right again.
However, now, when I turn right, I get a knock knock coming from the right front wheel area, it's not particularly loud, but noticeable, I also get a knock when I move again from braking. In a straight line, I don't get it, but turning, I can hear it! Similarly, I was traveling around 70mph on not brilliant roads yesterday, and I still got a vibration, albeit, nothing as bad as when the spigot rings were incorrect. The wheels are tight as far as I can tell!
I'm thinking one or more of the below stuff, any1 have a better idea, or confirm that this could be the case?
-Wheels need re balancing
-Bushes need replacing
-Front wishbones need replacing... (at last MOT (Nov 08) these were noted as slightly split but not resulting in excessive movement)
That's all I've got! Any answers much appreciated!
