New battery, old one died, now not idling properly :(
So... you know the story, drive home one night, car is fine.
Wake up the next day ready for work, jump in the car, start the engine.... and that's when you discover the battery has died for no apparent reason overnight
Before this, car was idling fine (even with its MAF sensor problem), since the new battery has gone in though, she won't idle at stand still, instead needle keep searching/pulsing around the 800-1000rpm mark, and sometimes drops low enough to cut out.
Is this a case of the ECU needing to find it's sweet spot for idling? if so how long does it take? or, is there something I need to do?
It's kinda dangerous when you have to stop half way on a steep hill and the engine cuts out!
