Powerflexing Upper Wishbones
I have just purchased the 3rd set of upper wishbones now in 3 years for my 156! I have the awful creaking noise (again) and some play in the balljoint (on the offside). I have opted for genuine Alfa Romeo arms this time, and have also purchased a pack of the Powerflex bushes that replace the standard rubber ones.
I have always bought the pattern arms, manufactured by Firstline - they are not cheap, and certainly not the cheap eBay ones, but I can only assume that the quality is still pretty poor, considering this is the 3rd set now in around 16,000 miles!
Does anyone know if the Powerflex bushes are a straight forward fitment into the arms? I have always fitted the new arms myself, but never done the bushes!
