Help 147 power steering leak

Hi folks wondering if you could help me out, just got myself a 1.6 ts 147 and two happy years of 146 ownership were brought to an end with a rusty subframe.
But in the first two days the 147 has thrown up some problems and kinda worried the the seller has sold me a pup.
The power steering fluid is leaking and from but i cant see from where just yet, but having a quick look under the bonnett i see a strange dranage pipe at the top of the power steering resvior, are 147`s know to leak anywhere?
Any help would be great.

No particular weak spot....they have been known to chafe the pipes across the front to the cooling coil, best check is to leave it ticking over on a flat surface and see where the leak is from...don't worry, shouldn't be a major issue....

I had a steering fluid pipe go on my old 147. If you open the bonnet and look down the left side of the radiator there is a plastic pipe running down to the bottom which then goes into a 'L' connector to turn the corner round the underside of the radiator. It was at this connection that my car had the leak.

Took it to McLennan's in Loanhead (Independent Alfa Specialist) who replaced it for 156 I seem to remember. This was after a quote for 300 or so from Arnold Clark who were the Edinburgh dealer at the time.

It's worth pointing out though that McLennan's informed me that the pipe is known for failing around that connector.

Can anyone suggest the best point to bleed off the PAS fluid - ours is looking a bit manky.

I'm aware of the pump/return kerfuffle in the manual.
