ChironWSC paints an honest picture on that repair canvas.
Now I'm finally, and I do mean it this time
off loading my light weight DIY body repair equipment! I got some of it years ago for some easy moon lighting to earn a few bob on the side. Even so I was working at a garage that had the equipment for major crash work, where we would hire the appropriate jigging tools for whatever make/model we were working on.
: Anyway I digress, as always.
So what DIY bodywork stuff am I about to get shot of?
Portable compressor on wheels, 50 litre reservoir, 10cfm free air. 150psi.
30' airline, with quick snap fit connectors, push twist and turn bayonet type.
AID Gun for primer.
Binks Bullows Barracuda for top coats. 8"-10" fan pattern.
Body Shutz gun.
Gas shielded mig welder.
Fluxed rod arc welder.
Various body Mole clamps.
Air chisel kit.
Portapak Oxy/Acet. gas welder with it's barrow.
Bradbury trolley jack, with adjustable pad lifting beam.
High/Low crown planishing hammers, with various shaped 'picking' ends.
Various shaped smooth dollies, and cross hatched shrinking dollies.
Lead loading/puddling kit, with some neatsfoot oil in a bottle.
Heavy bumping hammer, and a de-slagging picking/chopping hammer.
Loads of other bits and bobs, to numerous to mention.
: All this for a spot of DIY work at home.
PS, the Pull-Dozer has gorn' already!
: The very best of luck if you embark on this challenge you propose, and don't forget, spare a thought for the neighbours though?
