156 sunroof

Have a 1998 2.0 156 and due to rust I fitted a secondhand sunroof glass.
Sunroof fits okay but there is an air gap at each of the four corners when closed resulting in loud wind noise.
Would be great if anybody knows if there are different 156 sunroofs ?

Are you sure its alligned properly. Sunroofs seem to be a pain to get absolutly alligned when you change them on any car. Thats why in the repair books they usually say refer to dealer for repair.

is it much louder than the previous sunroof?

mine's quite a bit louder with the sunscreen back, and much better when it's forward.

They're a PITA to get right, because they move in 2 axis (back to front AND up and down), it's a job to get them to fit properly and get a proper seal....as noted above, usually a dealer job.
