156 outer rear window rubbers
While I have my rear doors in bits to fix the electric windows on my 156 saloon, I'm considering changing the window rubbers. By this, I mean the horizontal rubbers that run along the door and hold the glass as it slides in and out of the door. There are definite signs that water has been getting past them.
I already have the door card removed and the inside rubber lifts out easily. Does anyone know what's involved in removing the outside rubber? I'm guessing I would need to unbolt the two hex bolts that look as though they are holding the rear door handle. But what holds the rubber in place at the other end (i.e. on the edge of the door nearest the driver's door?) I tried pulling it gently, but it didn't seem to give at all. Thanks!
