Some info Cheers...

Hi Guys...

I had an Alfa 146.. best car ever. Engine blew up a few weeks ago... and is too damaged to be repaired.

Instead of sourcing another Twin Spark (Throwing money into a bottomless pit) Ive decided to go and look at a 2002 2.0 156 Turismo... Needless to say its a beautiful looking car.

Is there anything I should look out for when I go to see it? Its done around 70,000, nd I was unsure if the JTS engine needed a regular cambelt change like the original Twin Spark?

Any info is much appreciated

As far as I know, belt change interval on the JTS is 36,000 miles / 3 years, the same as the TS.

So, if it's due one at 72,000, make sure it's reflected in the asking/offer price. Variator should be done at that change as well...and probably the water pump as a precaution.

Good luck
