But these are made by Continental and only cost £85 suplied and fitted a corner
Any one tried them yet a mate has them on his 407 and he reckons they're a decent set of boots
Barum -Bravuris 2
Regarding Barum tyres, I know them pretty well as they are almost "local", produced in Czech Republic. We have similar company here in Slovakia called Matador, also purchased by Continental. I know Matador was available in UK, especially the racing tyres and offroad tyres.
Continental didn't change the name of both plants not because the products would be bad but because they have huge huge market in Russia and other eastern countries and the brands are well know there.
The products in general are very good. You dont get premium Dunlop, GY, Pirelli, Yoko or Bridgestone quality but they are totaly comparable with the mainstream touring tyres and they are way ahead of all low cost from China.
Both makes had a very successful divisions of racing tyres and both divisions were closed by Continental last year so that it didn't have such a competition inside of own family.
I have driven an autodelta 156GTA 3,7 on Matador MP45 Hectorra and they were very sticky. I have a set of these prepared for my GTA as well:
