What's the cure?
I know most of the 156 threads in this forum is a bit dated, but my trusty 156 V6 -98 was left for a week on a parking far away. Getting back to it, it showed the "code" light, but no "injection" warning. (Same as the OPs) So emergency starting does not work.
I have tried removing and inserting the connectors to the immobiliser (quite a gymnastic feat in itself...), but no difference.
So, I'm interested in any further ideas.
- "Not powering up the ECU" is one suggestion, but what does that mean to me? There seems to be some ideas about removing/moving/janking relays and fuses, but which would those be?
- "Heat protection" is another that was mentioned. What does this mean to me? What can I do?
Appreciate any additional leads!
