Ball Joint splitters

What are the best? i'm replacing the front suspension on my 2.0 156 and the only type that fits all the joints(or you can get at them with) are the sissor type ones but i've already broken a clarke I brought from Machine mart and you just cant get in with the forked hammer/lever types.

So what do yo guy's use?

Not sure what make mine is a a neighbour donated it, but it's the scissor type and he'd used it on a number of cars for years

Originally I used the hammer type and it worked OK ... I was just a bit concerned how close the hammer was getting to my bodywork

I used one the same when I did mine after splitting a rubber when I tried the first one with a fork type.

Make sure you leave the nut on the end of the bolt though otherwise they can damage the thread when you tighten them up.
