Unless you have a highly modified car, the std 95RON Unleaded will be fine.

The 156 V6 has no knock sensor and cannot advance timing based on the octane of the fuel.

When I stopped using high octane fuel my car ran better and got better mpg.

We had this debate running for a while in the GTA section. I find personally mine runs well on good quality regular 95 fuel. But I do flush a tank of Optimax through every other month just for the extra cleaning potential.

Can't tell any difference on my GTV.

Except in the wallet department.
