How easy is it to get the headlamp out of the car...? I suspect it might be tricky for a novice like me, and that my best bet would be to try and get a short screwdriver behind the motor to unscrew.? But I'm very determined and will keep trying .
You need to remove the bumper. its not difficult but dirty as it includes wheel removal, wheel arch protection removal and you need a set of hex and torx screwdrivers.
Maybe try first to do it without headlamp removal. You can maybe access the 2 screws (located in opposite diagonal corners on the rear side of the motor). Than you need to unplug the shaft from the reflector. This might be a little tricky, it is a "click" connection similar to ball joint. The shaft from the motor has a ball on its end that clicks into the case on the reflector. You may unclick it by holding the reflector steady with one finger and pushing the shaft downwards. Electrical connector is easy to unplug.
The motor is about 40 EUR by Alfa dealer here in Slovakia and is the same one for both left and right reflector. Many Fiats use the same part.
