It was tricky to diagnose. I had a flat battery a few years earlier and put this down to the central locking / immoboliser, so I stopped using my remote key and locked it manually. I had no problem until last month, started car in the morning, parked up at work, drove to a meeting at 2pm - at 5pm battery was too flat to start the car, instrementation lights did work though.
When I took it to the garage I told them there was a clicking noise passenger side - that was the window motor trying to close an already closed window.
I haven't yet got the new motor in coz it's a bugger to get the old one off - I can't get the plastic bit out of the glass!!
Not sure it will be this when sorted but driving without being able to open passenger window is not great.
Hope that helps - rear passenger window motor is working but very lazy - takes some time to close
