Disconnect the battery terminals (make sure you have a note of the radio code), remove the holding strap and remove the battery. If you still have one, removing the undertray might be necessary if the bottom connectors are stiff/stuck, but worry about that if and when the time comes.
Disconnect the air intake pipes, the MAF electrical connector, and remove from the car.
Lift out the plastic battery tray and remove the 4 13mm bolts that hold it in. Unscrew the 2x10mm bolts at the back of the tray, and unclip the relays from the front. Remove the tray.
Disconnect the 2 big looms on top of the throttle body (push the black tab and lift the metal keepers), and unscrew the 4 torx bolts that hold it in. Once it is free, disconnect the idle control valve plug and the earth wire. Set the throttle body aside out of the way.
