C&B Cams fitted - now battery flat?
Got my 156 back from Peak Alfa after them doing a great job skimming, porting the head and fitting the C&B Medium Road cams which Roger said were a pig to get the timing right (as C&B's spec sheets were completely wrong!).
Car has been running like a dream, very smooth idle (one think i was worried about).
..Although every other time i started it the speedometer would not work for 5 - 10 mins of driving then it would spring into life.
Yesterday i was waiting for my gf to get ready so we could head off to Auto Lusso to pick up my GTA steering rack & uprights. It was idling great for 30 mins while i was listening to loud music. Then the radio went off, got ABS warning, Exclamation marks lit up everywhere and then air bag light flashing?
Car was still running perfectly - very smooth.
I turned off the engine and now it wont restart - battery is dead?
Is the speedometer a sign of the batt going?or is it more likely the alternator?
Going to work in a bit to grab a multimeter....
