Ok, i sat up in my cold garage last night, and striped it all back, i reset to TDC on 1, and put the cam locks back on....and blo me the inlet cam sat about 2mm to the left of the cam lock (what i mean is that the cam lock sat abut 2mm of off one bolt) i relocked the cam lock back down, and reset everything..... put all back together, and hey pressto, a perfecty sweet running TS
i cannot believe just how precise the cam locks are, i am so glad i bought them
so for anyone else thats doing a cam change, make sure the CAM LOCKS are exactly locked down, not so much as 1mm off !!!!!!!!

now i have to do the front drivers side wheel bearing
and hints and tips on how i can lock up the front wheel so that it does not spin when i undo the drive shaft nut? i am a one man band ere, so no person to stomp on the brakes for me
any hints to give me?
