Qsystem is automatic and the override switch is just an electrical switch which releases the lock on the gear lever when you push the button - it doesnt do anything else. Once you move the gear lever it releases the automatic lock on the gearbox.
Selespeed is a manual gearbox with hydraulic control - there is no way to have an override of the Selespeed system, you have to start the pump and pressure it up to change gear. You would need a system that left the car in neutral and had some additional device to lock the gearbox so the car wouldnt move and then have an override of that system.
I always left my Selespeed in 1st and never had a problem with it. I certainly wouldnt leave a manual car in neutral and expect the handbrake to hold it on a slope, when the rear brakes cool they contract and very easy for the handbrake to release enough pressure on the discs and the car rolls off down the hill
