Oh yes, and don't forget to check and top up the semi-synthetic oil regularly, as they do use oil!
Thank you.. i really didn't reliease these babies need checking every Week!
I'm so excited... and i just can't hide it... well since my service and everything the car has been running very nice and since last week i've been testing it's limits and dam " I Love Alfa's"
The air filter was not replaced during service as they did not want to be responsible breaking the box .. so broke it myself and added a Heat Shielded Umbrella type Carbon (lightweight) Air filter and it's amazing how nice it looks under the hood. feel like driving with my bonnet off.. or may b soon invest in a see through bonnet LOL (not really)
just added some 18" multispoke chrome alloys to my bella and dam i know this bella turnin a few heads. (pictures to follow)
Dont know if anyone else had this problem but as i was putting the new alloys on they found that all 4 hubs were abit corroded and they advised me to change them asap.
as i was driving down the M1 yesterday my car suddenly started shaking so i pulled in to the hard shoulder asap and toook a look.. and found 3 nuts out and 2 nuts holding the wheel.. Feel very lucky to be alive..
so today went and changed the wheel bearing, Hub and lower wishbone (which had a very loose ball and joint they made me feel the difference from a new one and it was something that wasn't even on my list... but hey i'd rather be safe on the road) I went to:
(if you use him be sure to say Naz sent ya )
14 Moulton Park Business Centre
Redhouse Road, Moulton Park Industrial Estate, Northampton, NN3 6AQ
The owner is an Alfa enthusiast with a history of racing at Silverstone and the staff are hilariously funny and literally talk you through the job that needs to be done (if you have the time that is) I Give them 2 thumbs up and recommend them for any job.. any way the owner with persomission of course took my bella for a spin and came back and sed it's got a very sweet engine
and gave it a 8 out of 10 for a 1.8ts (-2 as it's still got the spare wheel on and sed to pop back when i've got the new nuts and wheel on) They will give their honest opinion.!!! plus the owner enjoys meeting new alfa owners as his an alfa lover!
been a hectic week starting a new job as a CHLAMYDIA FACILITATOR LOL... "if your under 25 and sexually active.. that includes oral get your self checked as it it's a silent STI and can be in a persons system for years with out any symptoms and eventually leaves them infertile..! women it can stop your eggs in the felopian tube meaning when you do get pregnant it can lead to death as the egg ends up being fertilised in the felopain tube. blah blah blah ..." Anyone going to the Bloodstock festival ? You'll find me there this weekend promoting and also we will have our testing station there so you can easily have your self checked (only a urine sample) ...
anyway hope fully i will have my car sorted tomorrow. found a company called sheltune who i was told MIGHT have what i need however anyone know of a place who supply nuts and bolt for universal alloys?
hope you enjoy the pics
I was suprised about hope big the alfa air filter is.. dam it was as big as the engine itself.
