Ok friends cars a no go for swap. I took the throttle body off and cleaned the butterfly and opened it up and cleaned the pot contacts, when put back together car still seems well under powered and is logging 'P0120 Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Malfunction' and 'P1122 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit Intermittent Low Voltage'
Now I've read that these faults can also relate to the accelerator pedal pot and according to Elearn if there is inconsistentcy between the 2 channel pots in the pedal it only allows 25% use?? is that the same with the throttle body sensors?
Does anyone know how easy it is to remove the pedal assembly? and for both pedal and throttle body what pins to bell out, what sort of resistance I should expect and if both channels should give exactly the same resistance throughout their range?
Thanks in advance
