147 Stereo Died - plase help!

I'm off up to Leeds from London today in my Bella. Stopped off at the garage, filled up and then the stereo has decided to die!

I've checked the fuses, for the radio and it all looks fine. Has anyone got any idea what this could be, or how to fix it? There's no display at all on the stereo.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Sounds dubious - I am aware that on most stereos there are fuses on the rear of the unit - may be worth checking these, although I am not 100% sure on the stock units from Alfa as to whether they have this.

First step if all wiring/fuses look ok, would be to remove the unit and see what is what. Maybe just d/c the battery for a minute, reconnect and see if that clears it?
