156 misfire, odd one this
Picked up a non running 156, having owned a few of these now I was fairly convinced I was a pro. Cambelt went on it. Replaced all the valves, pistons and rods were fine as were big ends. Put it back together, compression is 180 on all cylinders. Fired her up....... and it ran...... but the engine light stays on (orange one which looks like an engine) and on the digital panel it says limited range then that I should go to the dealer. The light stays on the digital display also....
Driving the car is fine until you go over 4000 revs, it splutters then misfires on anything over 2800, if you unplug the battery it will run fine again until you hit 4000. So disconnected the airflow and its made no difference. Light stays on, anything over 4 it misfires.
Any ideas to check?
