Help 2.0TS Runing Probs... Still

Hi Fellow Alfa bods.....

I posted a thread not so long ago about the dodgy running of my Alfa 2.0TS SPortwagon.
on tick over the revs dance about ranging between 800rmp and up to approx 1500.....

On acceleration it seems really sluggish and holds back.

I have a friend who has a 1.8 saloon TS and it goes like a rocket .. surely mine should be the same... if not better?

WHat I have done to try and sort the problem.

> Replaced Airflow meter (2nd hand)
> Cleaned throttle body
> New Rad, Fan etc.... mine was knackered and I was told the temp sensor could send miss readings to ECU
> she had new plugs at 72k miles, now on 74k
> I have a camshaft sensor (New Alfa) haven't changed it as I read on this one that the ohm reading should be 870 and mine is so figured mine was OK - should I change it? do they normally just go? if all OK I shall get me money back...

All of the above done and still no progress........ :-(

I really don't know what else to try and I am really looking for as much advice as anyone can give.

I have spoken to ALfa Main Dealers, but they just want to charge me £65 per hour to look at the problem and offer no solution.....and it has been to 2 different garages now at hundreds of pounds worth of cost and no one can come up with anything...

Help - Please :-(

Put your friend's MAF on (5 minute job to swap them) and see what happens
