Re: 1.9JTD or JTDm 16v help
Like I say the "m" is a modified verion of the Mjet-hence renaming it modifacto (modified in Italian). Why would they call it that if it wasnt? There are several threads on here about the differences.
Apparently it revs a little better and the emissions went from 176g down to 167g on the GT when the JTDm replaced the JTD Mjet. The 159 makes 157g as well, the same as the 156 with the Mjet version. That the 159 is 190kg heavier than the 156 and still makes the same CO2 figs tells you its been improved. Also for some reason (possibly the fact that the 149 has been "about" to be launched for the last 2 years! or maybe just cos the figures would be lower, just not enough to drop it into a lower band) they didnt bother to retest the 147's CO2 figs and they left it at 157, although its obiviously a bit lower.
Like it or not the JTDm IS different to the JTD Mjet, not massively, but it is different. The ultimate version would be a JTDm, but there really isnt much in it so youre not missing out if you have the 156 with an Mjet 150, rorystorm and spider95. Anyway, I ve "only" got the JTD Mjet 140, so youre doing "better" than me. And like you say-yours is very rare
