i've got a silver 2.0 manual and would love to have it looking like yours! what suspension have you got? how much lower over standard? does it thump around as much as the standard suspension?
also, i want to install a standard iso fit stereo (alpine tda7566r) - but the surround i bought (from caraudiodirect.com) doesn't do the job - leaves an ugly gap that makes me want to stick with the stock head unit. does anyone have any suggestions on what to use to fit a stereo and have it fit 'nice'...
finally, the air vents in the middle dash creak and rattle a lot - anyone else experience this and fix it?
thanks guys, excuse me if i'm dumb but i'm new!!
Hey dude, thanks for the compliments, the GTA wheels r a relatively new addition. I posted a thread on here with pics but they disappeared, ill repost tho since they were some good shots.
My friendly dealer ordered the wheels for me. My car has Eibach springs with Koni adjustable shocks. U can dial in as much firmness as u want with the shocks, but on the normal setting the car sits nice and flat, zero body roll and very good bump compliance, however on large sharp bumps u still get that trademark Alfa suspension crash that feels like the dashboard is gonna fall out, best to just drive around them then
Re the stereo surround, alot of guys on here have complained about the gap around an aftermarket stereo but i never had that problem since Aus cars came with an aftermarket stereo, and thus a factory surround that, when coupled with the plastic frame that comes with ur new stereo, covers all the holes accordingly,........heres a closer look
I too had the creaky dash top air vent, but divised a brilliant solution. Remove the vent and run some black aeroplance tape around the edges. When u screw the airvent back on, the tape wont be visible. The rattles are just plastic rubbing plastic. I performed a similar trick on my centre console behind the 3 dials, not sure if ne1 has had that rattle yet...
And regarding the airvents, im sorry i do not have the parts numbers. I simply emailed firstname.lastname@example.org
(thats an english email) and just explained what parts i was after. Personally id go for the complete interior pack, the parts look great together......heres some pics i took for the guys on the 156forum. Service with arparts is terrific, i just recieved my GTA pedals and footrest after 10 days.
And guys stop dissing my rear wing. I LIKE IT!!! And the car looks nuts on the roads, stands out like crazy!!!!
