Re: 147 keys help
take the key apart and solder the switch which has come away from the circuit board back on. then put the key back together and it will be as if nothing happened.
It really is that easy.
if your worried about getting solder on the circuit board just put the switch back in to its position and re heat the solder that is already there. that is what i did.
flip key open, use a small flat head screw driver to take out the battery, peel off alfa badge, use a small Phillips screwdriver to open the key fob.
slide out the circuit board remembering to take note of where the metal prongs are against the circuit board, solder the switch back in place. then put it back together in reverse order.
There is a spring which gives tension to the key so that it flips out. just before you close the clam shell shut twist the top half 360 degrees twice to allow it to build up tension to flip the key out then snap it shut and screw it back together.
if you get it wrong don't worry just try doing it again. no drama.
sounds harder than it is.
It really is simple and about 200 quid cheaper than a new key.
