ok maybe not a disaster, but not good anyway.
so here goes.
driving along still enjoying the 156, when i turn into a long right turn ( wasnt speeding, even slowed down for the corner so was at about 35-40 mph ) half way round the bend, i heard a " thud " and felt it through the floor of the car. anyway, car was still handiling perfect and no noises, so assumed id ran over something lying on the road.
pulled into the garage a few mins later, still nothing, but when i left the garage, and had the steering on almost full lock i heard a scrapey noise. coming from passenger side. so got out and had a look. well, not being a mechanic i dont know what i was looking for, but looked to see if anythiong was broke,or hanging down. but cant see anything. no leaks, nothing looks broke.
the only way ui can describe the soumd back on the bend, would be like a rubber ball smakin of the underside of the car. whatever it is, i'll be getting it looked at monday morning.
not helpfull i kow, but any ideas on what it could be. as i say, normal driving cant notice a thing, but hit a bump or turn sharp corner, and it grinds away.
