Have you consider KW coil-over with soft/hard adjustable? It has upper mount installed.
I know it's expensive but if you go for spring + dampers + labour costs (compress the spring to take off the upper mount and re-install). It costs you some money anyway. I am a bit regret that didn't choose KW. I heard some people said that the ride is quite good coz you can adjust it to very soft.</strong><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Abyss, thats very interesting. But i remember talking to Justin about this, and he told me that wherever he set the suspension's height, the ride seemed quite harsh. But now that i double think of it, he must have the KW Variant 1, which is not bound/rebound adjustable.
I have heard very good comments about Bilstein PSS9, their fully adjustable coilovers. A friend test-drove a BMW with those, and even though the car was too lowered, the suspension gave a good quality ride. But on their catalog i cant find any Alfa romeo product rant
