Any of you have experience with using the Alfa diesels in cold weather conditions? Considering buying a 156 SW (facelifted...) 1,9 JTD 140(bph).
Will it be a problem to get the engine temp. high enough? Even in - 20C ?
Please help me with this question!
best regards "the cold Norwegian", soon to be alfaowner?
Welcome to AlfaOwner. I can't tell you anything about driving a diesel in Norway, but you could consider visiting the website of Ulf who lives in Norway as well. He drives a petrol Alfa and can share those experiences with you. I am sure you can find his email adress on his site ( www.147dude.com )

I've had two alfas here now, both petrol, but no major problems due to cold except with door locks freezing at -30 below and that was a 10 yr old 164...oh and the heater was terrible until I got the thermostat fixed.
