147 cam belt snapped

hi,a friend of mines 147 snapped cam belt and bent 16 vales and 8 followers.head was repaired and cam belt replaised.had car back on road 4 a week.all was ok until engine manegment light came on.now car will not rev over 3grand.any ideas guys.regards

normally a MAF when revs are restriceted, but does seem a coincedence with the head work. Was it done at a proper indi with the correct tools or a general garage who may not have used/bought the necessary cam locks?

Bad timing perhaps! I had had MCSF and no revs above 3000 rpm. The fault code was P0340, Cam Position Sensor, Signal not valid (probably caused by a sheared woodruff key on the crank in my case)...

So take it back and let them diagnose the car!
