Help for mate please gents
Mate has a 147 1.6 lusso which he purchased after a trip as a passenger in mine,
he bought it privately but it still has final years warranty on it. Recently the car has sounded very tinny and has lost shed loads of power.
he took it to the local dealer who have diagnosed the variable inlet variable timing to be knackered. at a cost of £450 + labour to resolve.
What is the VIVT and what does it do ? should it be covered under warranty ???? thanks all
