it started about 10K miles, now at 25K. and alot worse. reckon the front disc warping at 9-10K to 20K (then I replaced them) may of had an impact on whatever it is?
Yeh you have to be realistic, But other manufacturers would generally expect nothing (save tyres, pads etc) to wear out/break in under 60K, so I reckon they should fix it. the 2 year pan euro warranty is milage free, so anything not listed as a wearable item (like pads) in the warranty should be replaced with a smile regardless of milage, but Alfa couldn't sustain that financially with their terrible reliability, so they try to get out of it - thats what gets people to buy a toyota. Every maker has the odd lemon, but genrally the likes of toyota etc have comparitively zero warranty claims per 1000 cars, where as AR must have hundreds! would be intersting to find out actually. the SMMT may have stats
anyway, I dont expect things to break, knock, rumble, fizz, fall off or have a fit in the first 3 years/60K. You accpet with an alfa they will, buit then expect then to replace them no probs.
Didn't you get your TCS done under warranty? What milage was that?
I have seen quite a few people mention about new TCS (upper and lwr) and new rear bushes in warranty, so must be a common fault like the variator?
But in short, i expect no more that a MERC, BMW, Audi, Ford, Toyota, Lexus etc customer when i have a problem, and I dont see why any AR customer should wink
