Cat bracket is part of the exhaust support system, support the Catalytic converter bit, and is prone to cracking at rattling until the exhaust system heats up!
i thought noise was the variator, which was knackered and done, but got the car back and rattle still there, so nice AMC tech had a shufty and diagnosed a "common" problem, stayed on 10mins after due to finish and fixed it -rattle gone)
If its under warranty, or even not, just ask mr dealer to replace the cat bracket, and see if it goes. You wont be sorry!!
