Possible need for a new 156

I am looking out for a new 156.

I have seen a few ads for cars, this one has caught my

156 Selespeed Sportwagon

It has very low mileage, is a nice colour and spec.

Price is a bit high for a 7 year old 156 though, even given mileage.

Any thoughts?

Nice looking car. SW's look best I think. I would make sure all the MOT's and service history reflect the mileage.
Pricewise.... its a dealer price. Haggle like hell. Buy at the end of month when the salesman has targets to meet.
I was a salesman and NEVER pay the screen price.

It looks very nice.

The selespeed would put me off personally though.

The selespeed fans will be along soon to defend it but personally i wouldn't touch it even for half the money.

As you probably know, Selespeeds have a reputation, but not all of them are troublesome. I nearly got a silver 156 sele ..... then I realised a new actuator would cost me more than the car itself

if bought from an alfa dealer yes, but i've fixed one selespeed by buying a used [ but tested ] actuator off 'da net' for approx £250

i fixed another for free, as i used a sensor from the 1st faulty actuator.
